The Ministry of Plenty
The Miniplently, which is newspeak for the ministry of plenty, is incharge of all economic affairs. Their duty is to ration out goods and food to the people of Oceania. Those in the inner party would get the best goods and the rest would have to make do with less. Some of the goods they provide include razor blades, work clothes and chocolate. This ministry can choose if they want to give more goods one day or give less. The party announced that they would increase the ration of chocolate to twenty grammes, but winston was sure it was actually a reduction from the day before.
